Barwaaqo Cement Company was established on 21 April 2001 by group like minded Somali businessmen with a strong ethical framework.

The aim of the establishment of Barwaqo Cement Company was to fulfill a demand for quality cement and how to supply such cement product sufficiently and effectively to satisfy the demand to entire Somalia and Djibouti.
